Dr. Brian Dudor started off with Mt. Olive as our sit-in sax player. He has now become a vital part of our show. Besides the multiple songs he blows his horn for, he has also taken up bass on "Cowboy" and even sings a verse on "Still Rock 'n Roll". Next he'll be spinning plates and juggling! When you don't see him on stage you can find him enjoying a fine cigar somewhere in the audience. His love of music started at age 10 and continued through Marquette University where he was a member of the concert, pep, and jazz bands. Brian says his biggest influence was Jay Beckenstein of Spyro Gyra.
Brian's day job as a family physician keeps him busy and the only times he's not on stage with us is when he's on call or on vacation. The band would not be the same without him, and those days he can't make it are the days we really suck. Just kidding. But for the few times Doc cannot make a gig, we have a standby ready now. Our fill-in sax player is an elderly gentleman, from the Mt. Olive Group Home for the Aged, who showed up one night at Nick's Nicabob thinking it was a field trip.
